East Oakville: This was my second project. I took on the role of Interior Design and project managing for this elegant home. There was not a detail overlooked. All of which is very typical of a full scope project. It required bringing interior of the home down to the bare bones. I started with all drawings, which included custom walk-in closets and expanding ensuite, bathroom. Selection of all finishes, hand scraped hardwood flooring, trim, doors, millwork, chefs kitchen and all bathrooms. Design of custom limestone fireplace surround, adding a coffered ceiling, expanding door openings. Creating a sound proof music studio. Many many design elements. Total decor. I was able to use furniture and drapery from the clients’ previous home, but there were pieces of furniture which were custom designed for this home along with custom rugs and drapery. When it all comes together it makes for a beautiful, warm, sophisticated family home.
