Old Oakville: Located in downtown Oakville, this Townhouse was very dated and restrictive. It was in dire need of a total face lift. First step was to bring in an engineer to consult before we stared removing walls. Step 2, was creating drawings and joining two bedrooms and expanding ensuite. Removing wall in kitchen, adding a fireplace with marble faced surround which created a sitting area flanked by two English rolled armchairs, a dining room and a beautiful walkout to balcony from 4 French doors. Replacing all floors and stairs with walnut hardwood flooring. All bathrooms were finished with book-matched marble from Ciot, with GROHE taps and a beautiful custom designed vanity with two pillars with glass doors. In the living room I added custom millwork with gas fireplace with a custom surround which was all painted in Benjamin Moore Cloud White, to create a library/sitting room. Walls were custom panelled and all furniture was custom designed by DFY. All chandeliers and lighting are a mixture of Hudson Valley and Visual Comfort.
